My Experience I found a safe and convenient way to volunteer during the COVID pandemic. I signed up to do a waterway clean-up for the 44th Annual Broward County Water Way Clean-Up. The whole process is recorded through the Ocean Conservancy Swell App. I was able to sign up for a clean-up near me through the app. I picked a park where there’s a lake, I was able...

Looking forward to taking a trip with your small children? Travel can be such a wonderful way for children to experience the world, and vacations can provide some serious bonding time for families. Still, traveling with small children can also be pretty stressful, especially for parents who are also concerned about their budget. So, if you want to keep tension and...

My husband and I decided to go to Amsterdam because our daughter went to China with school.  Since she was not traveling with us as she usually does, we figured we’d visit a place that offers amusement that we otherwise wouldn’t participate in with our daughter in tow. We thought Greece, Bali maybe, but Amsterdam won due to the time of year and finding...

Miami Art Week/ Art Basel 2018 was just a couple of weeks ago but people are probably still reeling from all the parties, socializing, concerts, vip cocktail parties and oh yeah the art. We’ve been feeling like the art has been put on the back burner a bit to make way for the ginormous party that Art Basel week has become in the past few years.  What used to...

We attended the first weekend of Halloween Horror Nights 2018! As Premier Passholders at Universal Studios Orlando, we get horror nights tickets included with our pass but only on selected days. The first weekend of the event was one of the few weekends the ticket was offered. There was also early entry provided that day at 5:30 pm for pass holders to preview 3 of...

We just got back from our first time going and camping at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. EDC is one of the largest electronic music festivals in the world running 22 years. It is quite the spectacle. I consider myself an original raver, I started going to raves in the 80’s. The first one I went to was in an Orange Grove in Homestead, FL.  Back then the...

Art happens often and extravagantly through art fairs in South Florida, not only during Miami Art Week but beyond! So if you miss Miami Art Week in December don’t fret. There is still sufficient art to see in the early months of the year, January, February, and March in South Florida, via pop-up art fairs. South Florida Fairs In January there are two art fairs...

Pandora – The World of Avatar opened on May 29th, 2017 at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. This world is based on the movie Avatar directed by James Cameron. The first piece of advice I will give you is to watch the movie again before going as it will give you much insight into the attraction We didn’t do this until after our visit to Pandora and...

The after Coachella blues have kicked in. Now that this year’s festival is over all I can do is draw on the great memories created at one of the most amazing music festivals in the world. Our experience was made even better this year because we splurged on Coachella Safari Tent Camping (or Glamping). If you’re thinking of Safari camping then I highly...

We are in the midst of high season here in S. Florida but I’d say art season peaks around December when Art Basel takes place. The beginning of the year, January and February, brings a few fairs including Art Palm Beach and Contemporary Art. Both of these take place in Palm Beach but the gem of art fairs that takes place at this time is Art Wynwood. You...
