Wynwood During III Points

Last weekend we visited Wynwood with the intention of attending some of the iii Points festival events. Naturally it was busier than usual when we arrived at 3pm. There were some events that we wanted to attend on Thursday and Friday but couldn’t make it down until Saturday. Surprisingly Saturday seemed a bit lackluster in the event line-up.  We decided not to attend the main show because it we had seen some of the artists and the other we weren’t really interested in.  The one activation we tried to attend which was a free “Happy Hour in the Garden ” at the Lab never happened.  I was glad to see the event seemed a bit better organized this year but going to something that simply didn’t happen left a bad taste in our mouths. We were hoping that iii Points was gearing up to be a SXSW type of event but were not sure that is really the case, at least not for while. There have been many interesting picture galleries on-line highlighting the event so I wonder if maybe we just had a a bit of bad luck . Anyhow we hope to have better luck next year and maybe more time to attend. We did have a great time in Wynwood that afternoon. Here are some pictures from that day.
