Wynwood Art Walk-Jan 2014
The first Art Walk of 2014 started off with a bang. An opening the Thursday prior of a Shepard Fairey show at Gregg Shienbaum served as the main draw. A wonderfully curated show offered a wide array of originals and prints. The show was well attended by fans and the usual art walk crowd.
Later we strolled into Brisky Gallery which was showing some great pieces by local artists as well as national. They have a great space I always enjoy strolling in although they had a Heineken beer stand and the girls at the stand were a little rude, just saying.
The Dorsch Gallery right across the street had some interesting pieces as usual, some quite abstract. The skull by Saya Woolfalk really caught my eye.
Here are some of my favorite pieces from the walk that night.
This is really useful, thanks.
