Highlights from Art Palm Beach
The 17th annual Art Palm Beach took place in January featuring contemporary established and emerging art work. It hosted a nice sampling of national and international galleries. Taking place right after the huge Art Basel event one sees many of the same artists and works displayed at this fair. In comparison APB features more craft-centric art such as jewelry and furniture all under one roof which provides for interesting mix of styles. The fair was quite enjoyable as it provides a full range of artistic styles from master works to street art/graffiti. It presents a nice slice of what is going on in the arts today all digestible in one fair.
Art Synergy coincided with Art Palm Beach to bring a focus to the arts in Palm Beach County. Four art districts, Boynton Beach (Art Al Fresco / BBAD) Lake Worth (LULA) / West Palm Beach (CONTINUUM) and Northwood Village (ArtX Art Walk) all held art walks during this time featuring local artists.
