Delicious Fudge Smoothie
I’m always looking to try new, healthy and easy recipes. I usually find them on the internet or at grocery stores. I collect them actually and sometimes it takes me a while to actually act on making the recipe. Today I tried a recipe for a smoothie I got at Whole Foods. The ingredients are all rather healthy and contain no milk products. The recipe yielded a nutty, chocolaty, smooth and creamy shake. This smoothie works great as a mid afternoon snack or maybe a quick breakfast drink. I used all organic ingredients for added benefits.
Serves 2-3
½ Avocado
¼ Cup Raw Cacao Powder (I didn’t have this so I used chocolate syrup)
2-3 Cups almond milk
8 dates
1 cup ice
The dates have to be soaked for two hours and drained. Add all ingredients to a blender except ice. Blend until smooth then add ice and blend again. Yumm!
